Suggested Fabrics
A small scrap of non-fray fabric, wool felt, or lightweight leather/suede.
Something to use for the strap. Use a strip of the fabric, or try twill tape, ribbon, leather lacing, wool yarn or bias binding.
The example shows a strip of wool felt - I stitched the edges of the strap so that it doesn’t stretch out when being put on and taken off the doll.
